Just the Facts

The San Francisco Giants are your 2010 World Series Champions. Its their first championship since 1954, when they were the New York Giants. Its been an interesting decade of champions. Here are the last 10

The Texas Rangers became the 28th different team to play in the World Series. Only Seattle and Washington have yet to appear.

The City of Washington D.C. has the longest current World Series drought. The city's last appearence was the Washington Senators 1924 win in 7 over the Giants. (86 years)

The Giants became the 5th different team to win a World Series in two different cities joining the Dodgers, A's, Braves and Twins.
